How to BBQ
CHICKEN TIKKA
Delicious tender chunks of chicken are produced
following this recipe, lightly spiced but absolutely oozing
with flavour.
Preparation and cooking time: 20 minutes. (Excludes
marinating time).
Serves 4
3
large chicken fillets
4
tablespoons plain yoghurt
½
teaspoon red chilli powder
½
teaspoon salt
2
teaspoons cooking oil
A
pinch of yellow food colouring
Cut
each chicken fillet into 6 equal size chunks. Wash and
drain.
Place all remaining ingredients into a bowl and mix
well.
Add
the chicken pieces to the bowl and mix again making sure all
the pieces are well coated with the yoghurt.
Cover and refrigerate for 4-6 hours. Or
overnight
Place the chicken pieces on a skewer and BBQ for 8-10
minutes turning regularly making sure there are no pink parts
before serving.
Note: try to avoid burning.
